Authentic decor and food. I enjoyed the Fig And Goat Cheese Salad. It was fresh and refreshing. The Hummus was served warm, as was the olive oil and pita. I will return to experience more authentic dishes.

If you're around this area and hungry, don't go anywhere else. The food is PHENOMENAL. You're welcome.

They've been in OP forever and with good reason. Solid food and nice service. I'm a fan of their baba ghanouj and their chicken sumac. And the baklava. Glad they are still here.

Grape leaves has been in Oak Park for several years. Every time I eat their food I am reminded why they are successful. the food is delicious! Today I ordered the chicken curry dinner. Whole pieces of chicken in a wonderful curry sauce with potatoes. Simply outstanding. So rich in flavor. The rice that comes with the dinner is also great. Today I also ordered grape leave as an appetizer. Thes little gems are perfectly prepared and so tasty. Love this charming little place!

We catered in last night from Grape Leaves and everything was incredible! Karim (the restaurant manager) personally delivered all of the food, presented beautifully on ceramic dishes and in traditional tajine. We told Karim how many people we were having and he put together the perfect menu. HUMMUS BABAGHENOUGH FALAFEL GRAPE LEAVES FIG AND GOAT CHEESE SALAD LEBANESE SALAD VEGETARIAN KABOB MIXED GRILL RICE PITA TAHINI ASSORTED BAKLAVA Food was delivered hot and on time. They even came back the next day to pick up their dishes. Everything was flawless. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

We loved Grape Leaves!! It is such a cozy spot in downtown Oak Park that I highly recommend. It has a very warm, intimate, family fun feeling, and the food is quite affordable and delicious. I've gotten takeout from them a few times as well, and their pita with babaghanoush never disappoints, with falafel. We loved the lamb chops as well, they were the perfect texture and quite smoky, and were complimented very well with the side of the flavored rice, smoked veggies and yogurt sauce. The waitress is also very kind and the service was great! Overall cannot recommend this place more, so sad that we didn't get to try a Tagine, but we will be back!

The signature lamb shank is sublime. The flavors are exotic, and the aroma of cinnamon that precedes it is the stuff memories are made of. Thanks for sharing the food culture, and not pandering to the market for blandness.

We loved the food here and the service was amazing too! 1st time here but we will be back! The menu is extensive but we decided to try the chicken curry, lamb shish-kebab, Jerusalem salad and the lamb couscous along with the falafel and hummus appetizers (warm pita bread came out with this). Each dish was well seasoned and packed with flavor, well balanced with roasted vegetables too. Highly recommend!

Stopped in here for lunch! It's a smaller restaurant space but ample seating if you wanted to go with a small group. I was surprised to see a couple other parties dining in as well on a cold day. We ended up sharing a bunch of things. We ordered the Eggplant Shakshuka, Hummus, Vegetarian Cigars, and Moroccan Cigars to share. I thought it was interesting that the Moroccan Cigars, while savory, came with powdered sugar and cinnamon on top. I enjoyed the Vegetarian Cigars more; the paprika on top and the tahini-based sauce was very good. I ordered a Lentil Soup as well. It wasn't like other lentil soups I've had in the past. It definitely had more spices in it and was less thick. The Turkish coffee was also really good. I had wished the pita came more heated or fluffier. I also was a bit turned off by the well-loved/used woven basket it came in - I'm kind of a germaphobe and all I could think of is how the basket can be reasonably washed. I'd order from here again for sure! The food was really good.

You need to book your table ahead. It's small restaurant . Since we had reservation we got the table.the menu is pretty decent. The food came out in a flow. It was nice. Ordered mint hot tea which was very good. The food on the whole is good. The service is also not bad but they got kinda slow I assume because of how busy it was since it was a weekend night. The place is aestheticallydone. Very Moroccan.
